This Painting was inspired by one of my favourite beaches on southern Vancouver Island. This is Sombrio Beach, a place you can camp on the Juan de Fuca trail. This moment was a quiet morning in late September. As an early morning shower lifted and diffused sunlight started brightening the landscape while the last raindrops quietly pattered into the tide pools at Sombrio Beach.
