Sombrio beach is one of my favourite places to visit here on Vancouver Island. I like to walk all the way to end of the beach (sombrio East) and when the tide is low enough I climb up onto this very large rock that juts out into the ocean and I sit up there and enjoy the view while the waves crash around me.
