This painting was inspired by the magical waterfall located on Sombrio Beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island. This waterfall is tucked inside a narrow canyon hidden from the beach, if you visit when the sun is high in the sky you may be lucky enough to see the falls lit from above creating a spectacular glowing column of water.
