Port Renfrew has one of my favorite beaches on Vancouver Island. Ancient trees, like shipwrecks, lay half buried in the sand. They are the bones of the forest bleached by the sun and polished by the waves. They fascinate me and capture my imagination every time. I love climbing them like a kid, and finding a perch to nestle myself into.
