The Pacific Northwest in the winter is a magical place. Rain is the lifeblood of the ecosystem, it drenches the forests and fills the rivers with beautiful fresh water filtered through the most amazing and complex system created by mother nature. The water brings back life after the dry summer and with all that abundance we flourish together. The waterfalls  at Little Qualicum Provincial Park are amazing, steep rock canyons covered with moss and ferns, water cascading through a series of falls. Standing at the edge looking over you can taste the water in the air, the negative ions, it's amazingly invigorating!
