This painting was inspired by the sun setting at Jordan River on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It’s one of my favorite spots to camp and watch the surfers. The marine fog on this September evening gave an otherworldly feeling to the whole scene. And then, the sun dipped behind the clouds and just like that it was over.
