“Emperor Falls” 24”x12” Original Oil Painting
  • “Emperor Falls” 24”x12” Original Oil Painting

On the hike into Berg Lake in Mount Robson Provincial Park there is a very large and uniquely shaped waterfall named Emperor Falls. It’s a small detour off the main trail, just drop your backpack under a tree and go check it out. When I saw the waterfall I knew exactly why they had named it that, the shape of the falls looked like a giant throne sitting under the shoulder of mount Robson. Majestic and powerful, it really is an inspiring sight to behold. Under all that rushing water there must be a shelf of amazingly hard rock creating the shape of these falls!
