Cottonwood Beach in my hometown of Fort St James, BC hold so many memories for me. When I look at this painting I can feel the grass beneath my feel and the lake breeze on my face. It's a spring evening and the air is sweet with the smell of flowers and running sap, and in that moment everything is perfect.
