This painting was inspired by the Astoria River on the trail into Tonquin Valley in Jasper National Park. Did you know that the human eyes sees more shades of green than any other color? Maybe that’s why I’m so obsessed with green! I just love the milky green of the glacier fed rivers in the Rocky Mountains.
