This is Mount Robson peeking out from the swirling clouds. This magical scene came after a short downpour that drenched me while hiking the Mum Basin trail in 2016. The clouds closed in as we reached the meadows above Berg Lake and we were completely exposed to the rains, but luckily it didn’t last too long. A few wet minutes of trying unsuccessfully to shelter under some small sub alpine fir trees and then the birds were chirping and the sun was shining again. It did make for some incredible cloud action though!
